Saturday's "BIg Freeze"

I was surprised to make a successful but slow return drive to Bristol in today's freezing conditions and thankful it was without incident.  However the biggest surprise was to  get a thermometer reading of MINUS EIGHT as I returned along the North Devon Link Road at half past five this evening.
