An information evening for prospective candidates and agents in the forthcoming County Council elections will be held on 25 March at Phoenix House, Tiverton at 7pm.
There are six seats up for election on 2 May in the Mid Devon area, including Tiverton East and Tiverton West.
District Council electoral services staff will be on hand on 25 March to give prospective candidates and agents an insight into the County Council election process. Nomination papers will also be available on the evening giving plenty of time before the deadline for their return by noon on Friday 5 April.
Prospective candidates can get more information about the role of a County Councillor from Rob Hooper, Devon County Council, by emailing rob.hooper@devon.gov.uk.
Further details about the election and the timetable can be found on the Electoral Services pages at www.middevon.gov.uk/index.aspx?articleid=124
