Disappointing

If you like puree food then the Gate of India is the place for you! For me there are no decent curry houses in Tiverton if you want a curry go to Exeter Verdict.......Rubbish!

    I love curries. So where do I go if I want a decent one? The Gate of India, that’s where! The service has always been solid in my experience and the food satisfying. Those who like a curry with a kick, I recommend the Jalfrezi. The seventies interior décor also gives it character. Please, please, don’t have a refurb.

    Had a lovely meal at Tivertons Gate of India. I went as a group of 9 girls and the food was delicious. When we arrived we were warmly greeted and shown to our pre-booked table. Our orders were taken quickly and the food came out in less than 10 minutes. The food was faultless and the atmosphere was welcoming. I would highly recommend this restaurant to a friend as the cost is good value and the food is delicious, also the waiters are friendly and helpful. This is not the first time I have been there and I will continue to go again as the food is lovely. An excellent restaurant for everybody. 5 stars. (the rating only shows 4 as I couldn't click the last one)
