UKIP : "We're the only party against the European Union in Tiverton"

UKIP have said they are the only candidates to vote for in Tiverton & Honiton if you want to leave the European Union.

Campaigners for the UKIP's candidate Daryl Stanbury were at Tiverton Market on Saturday to meet potential voters and hand out leaflets.

Town councillor and campaigner Adam Marks said : "Angela Browning was quite eurosceptic, but her replacement Neil Parish doesn't share the same view.

"We are the only party saying that we're going to come out of the EU. As well as this we have policies that benefit the country as a whole, and we are no longer a one policy party, and we have a full manifesto."

Despite the Tiverton & Honiton seat being one of the safest Tory constituencies, campaigners are confident of beating Labour, and giving the Liberal Democrats a 'good drubbing'.

Adam added : "We've been very well received today. Some may say it's a wasted vote, but it's only wasted if you don't vote for what you believe in."
