Buy now and avoid disappointment is the advice from the club following the overwhelming success with Disney's High School Musical 2 years ago. That show sold out before the opening night!
48 members between the ages of 11 and 19 have been rehearsing since April 2009.
Musical Director, Andrew Curtis, has been delighted with the hard work and dedication by the members and hope that the audiences will be moved by their achievements.
The cost of putting on this show is approximately £12,000. This includes performance rights, hire of halls, costumes, music, props and scenery.
Don't be disappointed and miss out on this classic show ....
Susan Boyle recenlty "Dreamed a Dream" in Britian's Got Talent and now the members of Tiverton Junior Operatic Club will be living their dream by performing this famous show. Songs include "I Dreamed a Dream", the very moving "Bring Him Home", "Castle on a Cloud" and the rip roaring "Master of the House"

My daughter Nancy Holland is actually producing" Les Miserables" in Auckland, NZ. (Only spelt differently) She has been in NZ for more then 10 years, and apart from producing; is a well know actress . The play 'Shirley Valentine ' is her favourite role.
She did attend Wilcombe PS and the Tiverton High School
Best of luck for your production

ReportThe TJOC have been working hard since June I think on this show - quite a lot of effort has gone into it I can tell!! And with that kind of money being spent I'm sure it'll be a musical treat - I'm sure the TJOC will do the town proud once again like they usually do!!!
Good luck with rehearsals - see you when the curtains go up (unless you have it where the curtains are open to start off with........)
