IT can now be confirmed that Prince William and Kate Middleton did come to Tiverton on April 17.

The couple took a weekend visit to the town to attend a friend's wedding at St Peter's Church.

An onlooker told me: "They parked in the market and just walked up through the town.

"One man was trying to take photos but he was quickly told to go away. There was no security in sight and it was quite a low key affair."

The photographer may have been from the celebrity magazine Hello as they write on their website : "There was something of a commotion in the market town of Tiverton, Devon

when the tall, dashing figure of Prince

William – resplendent in full morning dress - suddenly appeared on

the street with Kate

Middleton.

The pair were on their way to the wedding of their close friends Emilia

D'Erlanger and David Jardine-Paterson at the magnificent St Peter's

Church. And photos of the royal sweethearts and the bride and groom

appear exclusively in this week's HELLO! magazine."

    I don't agree with Cheey Monkey's comment.
She is sporting a rather fetching "fascinator" on her pretty head.
28 or not she just makes me wish I was 40 years younger!
