The cadets packed bags of shopping for 6 hours from 10am to 4pm. The army cadets thoroughly enjoyed it and were very well received by staff of Tesco’s and by the public they were helping. The cadets put in a great deal of effort and were in good spirits throughout the day. Some of the money raised will go towards the detachments celebrations of the 150th anniversary of the Army Cadet Force this year.
Staff Serjeant Neil Ward, Tiverton Detachment Commander said “I would like to thank all the shoppers who donated so generously at the bag pack and Tesco’s store for allowing us to hold this event.”
