As I was walking home tonight after a night out in Tiverton

to end the week, I couldn’t help but notice that it’s almost pitch black around

Tiverton Market Centre.

The front page of the Tiverton Gazette this week showed that

even the police agree with me, and it is something I have been saying for a

while.

Anything could happen there as there are a few nooks and

crannies where the dark side of Tiverton – which we all know exists – could exist.

I’m also wary about leaving my car in the market car park

because that too is a bit dimpsy, and despite the good intention of the system

telling me to not leave valuables in my car, it often gives me a minor fright

when I think somebody has come up to me from behind.

Hopefully something will be done about this soon, and it

will look appealing and also a safe place to be.
