Some of the students who were successful in the 12th May grading.
-
Mr. Daniels receives his 3rd Dan certificate from Master Dew 8th Dan.
-
Darren Sowden receives his grading award for the best Tiverton student at the grading.
Master Michael Dew, 8th Dan, who is the area examiner for the south west, travelled from Bristol to Tiverton to grade the students who have all
been practising hard for a minimum of 3 months to show off their new
techniques and skills.
The grading saw all 15 students being put through their paces to prove that they were worthy of receiving their next belts and all students who entered successfully passed.
Tiverton instructors Karen and Ian Daniels said 'The dedication of our students to their training was reflected in the high quality performance that they gave during the grading. We are extremely proud of them all.'
Mention should also go to Ian Daniels, Ian Chick and James Reid who attended the recent black belt grading at the Bristol Academy. Ian Chick and James were promoted to 1st Dan and Ian Daniels made the grade to be gain 3rd Dan status. A great achievement and the realisation of a long held goal.
