THE time has come to go back to work after a long hard

summer of fun – and moaning about it being too hot and muggy.

Where are the best places to pamper and treat yourself in

Tiverton? Well, we don’t exactly have any lush spas or places where Hollywood

superstars would hang out, but we do have some nice places to look good and

feel fresh for the daily grind.

Getting a Good Haircut

For females there are plenty of places to explore and get

styled. As I’m not a female, and I have the fashion sense of a turnip, I’m

probably not the best person to say which are the best places to styled.

Thankfully you (the people of this website) have written some of your own

reviews and we can see that Hairotika, Hair & Beauty Zone and Sarah Hodge’s

all have very positive feedback.

There are other options which include Attention, Nineteen,

Hair Care, and Fleur De Lys which are still awaiting some feedback, so if you’ve

ever used them, let’s hear what you’ve got to say!

For the males, there’s a fair few options as well. Head

Kandi which moved into town last year always seems to be busy. The Barber Shop

which is now located in the former Cross Keys premises with one of the most

experienced barbers in town, Harry (or Barry as he likes to be called) who’s

been chopping hair for nearly fifty years, including the likes of Razor

Ruddock. Then in Westexe there’s John’s Gent’s Hairdressing which is just

opposite an ideal parking location and a pub.

Don’t forget to mention your own favourite barber shop and

leave your reviews on our business directory.

You'll need something smart to wear too

So you’ve just had a haircut, you’ll need some decent

clothes to complete the look. There are plenty of places in which to get

apparel in Tiverton.

Now, I have to admit, I’m not exactly one who takes great

pride in my appearance, so I’d love to hear your views on where the most

fashionable places in town are. However, looking at the directory under the

clothes section it comes up with a few recognisable names.

Jo Amor Designs has a five star rating from the Tiverton People readership

so we’ll have to recommend that one. There’s also Designworks, Satin Touch, and

New Look.

Edinburgh Woollen Mill always gives me a friendly welcome if

I pop in, there is QS on Bampton Street, Peacocks.

If we’ve missed your business out, then make sure it’s on

the business directory and make sure your customers let us know about it

through reviews!
