Campaign to stop Wilcombe, Sampford Peverell C of E and Hemyock Primary Schools becoming an Academy

The Executive Head and Governors of these three Schools have sent a letter to parents and 'stakeholders' to say they are starting a Consultation to become a linked Academy. This means the Schools will no longer be under the control of the Local Education Authority, which means that they will no longer have any means of Democratic control, checks and balances by Parents or the local Community. I have started a campaign against the proposals, and would like to hear from anyone interested in joining the campaign, or Parents, Governors or members of the Community who are unsure of the arguments for and against.
