"Palmerston": A talk by Jonathan Edmunds. Viscount Palmerston was Tiverton's M.P. for 30 years from 1835 until his death. He played a crucial role in the politics and government of Victorian England, serving as both Foreign Secretary and Prime Minister. But he also was a player in the lively local politics of Tiverton.
