Friday 29th April - The Moorhayes Community Centre in Tiverton will be open from 10.30am for people to watch the Royal Wedding, before an afternoon of entertainment including a tug-of-war contest, a five-a-side tournament, bouncy castles, face painters, barbeque and a large street party on the lawn.

Locally renowned DJ Melvyn Garland will be joining forces with Phil Morgan as MC's, presenting the afternoon’s entertainment, including a display from Tiverton's New Generation Majorettes, the Tug-of-War competition and its rumoured, an appearance from the Heart FM Angels which will add a touch of glamour to the proceedings...

From 6.30pm, the doors of the centre will re-open giving you the chance to dance the night away through until close at 11.30pm. The licensed bar will be available all day, with hot food available from the barbeque up until 9pm*

Admission to watch the Royal Wedding on the large screen is free, Admission to the centre after 2pm costs just £3.00’s per person, with concessions on the door. Admission includes a seat at the traditional street party, free entry to the disco** and entry to the raffle with a chance of winning a star prize!

**Tickets must be retained and shown to gain entry to the centre for the evening’s entertainment, otherwise people will be charged at the advertised rate. Numbers for the evening entertainment are strictly limited and sold on a first come, first served basis. The promoter reserves the right to refuse entry to anyone, when required so to do. Anti-social or abusive behaviour to any of our volunteer workforce or anyone will not be tolerated.
