THE leader of Mid Devon District Council says he will propose no increase in council tax for the district for the third year running.
In his monthly column for the Gazette, Peter Hare-Scott said the council faced tough choices over spending in the next financial year.
But he said he recognised that families were also feeling the pinch.
"I am aware of how difficult times are for hard pressed families and householders on a fixed income," he said.
"For this reason I will be proposing a third year of no increase in council tax."
