Should there be a Tiverton Volunteer of the year award?

I was thinking about this the other day, and I think it's a good idea. The idea of having a sort of 'Pride of Tiverton' awards for people that have made an outstanding achievement in their field of work.
Maybe somebody who has raised a lot of money for charity, the best performing people at the school's and colleges, and the unsung heroes such as long serving staff members or a voted for Tiverton mum of the year etc.... etc..... and just have a night to celebrate these things.
