Delighted to know that you have at last discovered the Tiverton People website, Bernie. Bet you are just now envying us our late summer monsoon weather ? I'll see that Mike is made aware of your ungenerous personal remarks about his girth - it must have been an unfortunate camera angle, as he assures me he has lost weight!!

I watch spotlight each night and always check David Braines weather report as it covers us at times as well.
Bit of sadness tonight with Ryan leading the cars in Adam's funeral through Exeter before returning to Tivvy.
My old ducks that the club purchased still bringing in the duck race cash, it was a good investment.
I remember when we went around the town on the open top MG Midget with you in the duck uniform sat up on the back with music on the car PA system waking all and sundry from their slumbers.

Keep on the path now, Kind regards from a warm but overcast Finistere,

I took Bella my poodle on the beach tonight for a run around. She had 2 major ops for cancer last year and is now on tablets each day. She will be 13 in January 2011. It is good here the beach is just accross the road and is the same as Woolacombe miles of fine sands.

    Cheers for now

Look out for Exe Valley Rotarians in their canary yellow tabards when shopping at the various Tiverton supermarkets over the next few weeks, or come to the Bridwell Park Country Fair on Sunday, 5th September at Uffculme, (courtesy of Lord and Lady Ivar Mountbatten)
where members of the Rotary Club will be manning their stall through the day. Late entries may be purchased on the day of the Duck Race at the finishing line at Lowman Green, prior to the Grand Launch of several hundred ducks plus business balls! Your support for this annual exciting charity fund raising event will be welcomed!
