POLICE have appealed for witnesses to a crash which left one Tiverton man dead and two others with life-threatening injuries.
The accident happened at 6.13am on the southbound side of the M5 motorway between junctions 25 and 26 at Taunton yesterday.
The dead man has been named locally as Daniel Gunn, and the injured men as Tom Pilling and Tom Moyes.
Sergeant Jim Whatley, from the Roads Policing Unit of Avon and Somerset Police, said: "This is a serious incident in which a young man has tragically lost his life.
"I am particularly keen to speak to anyone who was using the motorway network at this time who may have witnessed this collision."
