The first arrangement where placed in wooden seed boxes with wire mesh at the back. The foliage and flowers used were hosta, fatsia hebe, bells of Ireland green hydrangea, carnations and large single headed chrysanthemum.
Second a rectangle frame, aspidistra leaves with coloured pins to hold the manipulated leaves in place. Cupressus which had a silver shade on the back, purple liatris these flower from the tip downwards, pink carnations, cabbage with pink centres and green outer leaves.
Third witch broom using two brooms tilted at 45 degrees for ‘turbo charge’ with black hat and cloak for props. Trailing foliage of symphoricarpos and eucalyptus, aspidistra, orange gerberas, small green anthurium with red edging and amaranths with long tassels.
Forth a pedestal, using long narrow foliage privet, asparagus fern, variegated ivy, pink carnations, gerberas, lilies and red roses.
Fifth woven basket made from twigs using cuppress. Aspidistra and mallow foliage, small sun flowers.
Sixth a large aluminium pot using fatsia leaves for the edging tall white gladiolus for the centre and gypsophila (million stars) around the base.
Seventh large round rings using variegated jasmine and ivy, spotted laurel, red chillies, orange roses, lilies and chrysanthemums.
