Involve is running its 7th Annual Conference on September 9th at the Tiverton Hotel.

This event has continued to grow in popularity and in content. This year there are 6 workshops, key speakers, exhibition, useful materials and a chance to mix and meet others in the same "area of work".

Our Keynote Speaker is Vanessa Cobb, author of ‘The Colour Caster’.

    The Art of Raising Voices:

When funds are scarce, the threat of competition amplifies. Each voice struggles to be heard. Yet voices raised in fear and anger will sound discordant compared to those raised in unison and clarity. Vanessa explores the power of harmony to drown out the cacophony of crisis and collectively to raise rooftops and resources."

    Workshops include:

    Charity Law Materclass
    Train to gain
    Employment in a Recession
What am I missing (social networking)
Finding your Voice as a Community Leader
Get the most from local businesses

The conference is for the paid workers, volunteers or Trustees of local groups and charities, and anyone who works with or alongside the Voluntary Sector.

    Why attend?

This is a significant, Devon based, conference giving an unusual local opportunity: to engage with a range of topical quality workshops; to explore and discuss current and developing issues for the sector; to meet and share experiences with other local organisations; to hear motivating presentations and gain up-to-the minute funding information all in a single day.
