Carnival

What a remarkable achievement for the clubs first time entry in the carnival with the theme corresponding with the clubs pearl anniversary were we made a pearl shell, decorated a sphere shape, made garlands to hang around the edge of the trailer and covered the base with the intertwined ivy.
Our efforts were rewarded with a first for the best local entry where we were awarded with a shield, and third place for the class with a trailer fewer than thirty foot. Thank you to Christine for saying yes to entering the carnival, organising a trailer, a work shop and keeping everyone on there toes. Plus a thank you to Christine’s husband David for making the lights work in the evening and driving the car around as well.
