Nice essay, but I'm going to have to take you to task on a few points:
You paint a bleak picture of the country, and it's not - by and large - one I recognise. Crime isn't rising - yet, immigration is falling hugely, largely because of the economic crisis.
The larger crisis which we face after this election is the death by 1000 cuts of a jobs massacre in the public sector which will follow it, and that is common to every party standing in Tiverton with any realistic chance of winning. Whoever forms the next Government will make cuts which will make the 1980's look like a picnic. If you think that the military is underfunded now, just wait!
What's more, you allude to the War in Afghanistan, but none of the parties are committed to ending it, so the pointless deaths will continue, whoever gets in!
Voting in this election, particularly in this seat, is just a waste of time. Better to start organising the fightback against whichever gang of criminals get elected.
