The Flying Pickle

Cool, classy cafe

We visited The Flying Pickle on a Saturday afternoon, and were immediately impressed by the tempting food and deli items on display. We also liked the laid-back style, specially in the spacious, airy upper room, where we enjoyed excellent coffee and cake from a hard-to-choose-from menu while sitting on a comfy sofa. The only downside was the predominance of buggies, babies and toddlers. Perhaps we just came at a bad time, but the resulting noise and chaos was far from relaxing, so we didn't stay any longer than was strictly necessary. That said, the coffee and cake were so good, that we'll probably risk another visit!
