Welcome to Gunney Design (run by Colin Gunney)

Based in Tiverton, I offer a range of design services under the banner of Gunney Design and Gunney Photo Design.

My aim is simple: to produce designs that get you the results you want and need.

GUNNEY DESIGN SERVICES

Sub-editing, layout & design of: magazines, newsletter and leaflets, brochures and annual reports, company stationery, pop-up stands, banners and adverts, logos, proof reading, interactive and media-rich pdfs, slideshows and presentations, website content management, some PR services.

GUNNEY PHOTO DESIGN SERVICES

My speciality is designing (and arranging the print of) Photobooks/albums. I also offer a range of professional photographic services including: scanning, copying and enlarging photos, printing them on high quality inkjet photo and fine art media; photo-editing and retouching (including some restoration of old or damaged photos); picture framing (selecting from a wide choice of frames and mounts – including acrylic sandwich frames – to suit your budget); archiving your old photos; I can also supply inkjet prints on Photo Blocks and Gallery Wraps.

ABOUT COLIN GUNNEY

I have more than 30 years' experience in the field of journalism, design and corporate communications, – writing, sub-editing, and design.

For 16 years, before going freelance in 2000 to start Gunney Design, I was design manager for a top London agency, designing and producing a range of corporate communications for national and international clients. During that time I designed/created for many blue-chip clients including: Allied Domecq, BAA, Balfour Beatty, Barclays Bank, Canary Wharf, Hallmark Cards, Harrods, Lloyd's of London, McDonald's, Marks & Spencer, Mobil, Moss Bros, Railtrack, Safeway, Smith & Nephew, Sony, Superdrug, and Thames Valley Police.

During this time my designs won many BACB (British Association of Communicators in Business)/CiB (Communicators in Business) awards as well as winning an IABC (International Association of Business Communicators) Gold Quill plus many IABC Awards of Excellence.

I started my journalistic life in Devon but moved to Reading many years ago. In March 2012, I moved back to Tiverton, still retaining all my Berkshire-based clients.
