I have adored Knightshayes Court since we first moved here when I was 2.. its provided endless hours of fun, whether that be bear hunting in the forest and making Native american campout and huts in the forest or rolling down the hills in summer and sledging on them in Winter. The gardens and grounds of the house itself are stunning, takes my breath away everytime I go there. I would recommend Knighthayes to anyone, from local residents to tourists looking for something to occupy themselves with.

How can you complain about a huge area to use as a big playpark? The wildlife in the Trust's big open space is amazing, and it's located out of the way so there's no need to worry about traffic noise either. It's a perfect place for a picnic too, and once, when I was about six, I went with my primary school and there was talk of there being a friendly dragon!
