A TOWN councillor and his grandmother will become stars on

television reality show Coach Trip today.

Cllr Lewis Clarke and gran Jean Hunt will be featured on the

new series which sees a group of seven couples travel around Europe led by international

tour guide Brendan Sheerin.

At the end of each day the tourists get to vote for their

least favourite couple who are then given a yellow card – if a couple receives two

yellow cards they are forced to leave the coach.

Cllr Clarke of Tiverton's Cranmore Ward said: "I'm not

allowed to reveal too many details of what and where we went yet, or even how

long our trip lasted.

"A lot of friends of mine and my gran have kept pestering us

about when it will be aired since we went away in August, so it's good to know

that it's finally going to be on."

The first of the new series begins on Channel Four on Monday

30 January at 5.30pm and will also be online on 4OD.
