Town council set up on Flikr to engage the community

YOU can now view photographs from Tiverton Town Council online thanks to their new Flikr photostream.

The profile www.flikr.com/tivertontowncouncil aims to put all council related photographs online for people to view.

Currently, there are snaps from the recent Tiverton in Bloom awards evening as well as the crier competition and proclamation.

Cllr Lewis Clarke who came up with the idea for a council Flikr page said: "We are always looking for new ways to show people in the town what we are doing and this will help with our community engagement.

"We will be able to upload photos in bulk so everyone who is at an event should be able to spot themselves somewhere in the crowd."
