For the last nine years, visitors to 22 Bonville Crescent in Tiverton have been spellbound by a glittering array of Christmas lights and festive displays.
Funds raised by Paul and Janet Dunn for Devon Air Ambulance Trust (DAAT) have now topped £11,000 and there are more lights than ever this year.
Their 'big switch on' was nearly rained off as the whole town was drenched by the recent torrential downpours but the Dunn's grit and determination was rewarded by a garden filled with almost 200 people who had come to support their efforts.
DAAT Volunteer, Richard Lappas, was on hand with his camera and to say a few words to the assembled crowd. As well as the spectacle of the light show, guests were also treated to a tombola, hot dogs and Mother Christmas (as Father Christmas was unwell!).
Caroline Creer, DAAT's Fundraising Director, said, "Once again we would like to extend our thanks to Paul and Janet Dunn for their tireless efforts to raise funds for the Trust. As well as the traditional Christmas-themed decorations on display, they even manage to incorporate our helicopter! There really is something for everyone and the support they receive from on-lookers is testament to all their hard work."
