Tiverton cadet presented his Silver Duke of Edinburgh award

Tiverton Army Cadet, SJT John Prevett, has passed his Silver Duke of Edinburgh award. 

Detachment Commander SJT Sanders presented SJT John Prevett (pictured) with his Silver Duke of Edinburgh Certificate on a Parade Night at The Cadet Centre, King Street, Tiverton.

SJT Prevett undertook various tasks to successfully pass each section of the Award,including Volunteering, learning a skill, undertaking a physical activity and completing an expedition

The Duke of Edinburgh Award Scheme aims is to increase personal skills & awareness which each young person can take with them into the future.

Tiverton Army Cadet Detachment meet at the Cadet Centre in King Street, at 7pm every Monday and Wednesday night. The detachment recruits anyone aged 12 to 18.
