After the recent success of their performance of CATS, pupils from Tiverton High School have decided that the school dressing rooms could do with a major refit, and have called on local businesses for help.

Iain Slevin, Head Boy, who is leading the project said, ''I was lucky enough to have a role in CATS, and it was one of the most professional shows that the area has seen.  Sadly, the dressing rooms we were using were more like cold, empty cupboards.  After the show ended we decided to try to upgrade them. The aim is to have a full refit with no cost to the school at all.'

The school is delighted with the offers of help so far from local businesses. Companies like Travis Perkins, Plumbase, Clarkes Electricals and Plumber Paul Stoneman have all donated goods and services to get the project going.

Petroc College students are on hand to do some plastering and painting and South West Glazing have donated large mirrors.

The next item on the wish list are some kitchen base units and lockable cupboards for the rooms.  If your company could help, please contact the school on 01884 256655.
