Teenage Cancer Trust

Thanks to all the good people who attended Calverleigh Village Hall on Saturday night the 26/11/2011.The evening started with a Quiz presented by Roger Abbott we then enjoyed a feast provided by local friends,as always enough to feed double the amount attending.We were then entertained by the very talented Rose Chanin who got us laughing, before moving on to the George Formby Society Band who kicked off their set with a lot of traditional Skiffle before moving to the George Formby style it was a first class programme enjoy by both young and old. We also had a draw with all the prizes provided by friends and some of Tivertons Traders also a cake stall selling home made cakes. What a night we raised the sum of £870. Thanks again to every one who contributed in anyway, or attended. its good to be involved in a community who care for others.Well Done.
