Tabby Holly needs a loving home

THE aptly-named Holly is among the pets at a Mid Devon based charity who could get the ultimate seasonal gift - a new home in time for Christmas.
Staff at the Blue Cross rehoming centre near Tiverton are appealing to anyone thinking about getting a new pet to consider helping a rescue pet.
The charity stresses it is important to think carefully about the commitment involved in owning a pet and would never recommend giving an animal as a surprise present, but says holidays can be a good time to adopt a pet, with lots of family around to help the new addition settle in.
