UPDATE: Sporting youngster taken to hospital following injury

A BLUNDELL'S School pupil was taken to hospital after suffering concussion during a rugby match on one of the school's pitches yesterday.
The boy suffered the injury during an under 15 match on Thursday afternoon against High Wycombe's Royal Grammar school in the Daily Mail RBS Schools National Rugby Cup.
Three ambulances were called to the scene following reports of the injuray at around 3.10pm. The boy was takenn to the Royal Devon and Exeter Hospital, but a spokesperson for the school confirmed today that the boy was "fine".
The game saw Blundell's exit from the newspaper-sponsored competition in which the school had reached the seventh round at its first attempt. The final score was 8 - 16 to the visiting side, who have been runners up in the final for several years running.
