Mid Devon District Council seeks estate representatives

MID Devon District Council is looking for tenants who can represent the views of their neighbours and highlight concerns or ideas on their behalf.

We are asking Council tenants to consider becoming estate representatives for their areas. The purpose of an estate representative is to:

- be the local voice for your neighbourhood

- receive information from us about what is happening in your neighbourhood

- consult with your neighbours as and when necessary.

No formal skills or experience of working with a committee are required to become a representative and you can give as much or as little time as you have available.

Sandra Hunt, Tenant Involvement Coordinator said: "We've started working with some tenants who have become estate representatives but we need more in other areas so look forward to hearing from you".
