Mid Devon District Council's new affordable finance schemes for eligible First Time Buyers and Landlords!

Mid Devon District Council, in partnership with Wessex Home

Improvement Loans, has two new loan schemes to assist Mid Devon

residents.  Maximum interest rates are 4% (typical 4.2% APR).

The First Time Buyer Deposit loan scheme (up to £15,000

available) may be able to provide necessary finance to help towards deposits or

essential repairs to first homes. 

Eligibility criteria applies, including:

                   1. The house must be in the Mid Devon District

Council area

·                          2.  The house must not have been lived in for six

months or more

·                          3.  Applicants must be able to evidence some savings

towards a deposit

·                          4. Applicants must have lived in Mid Devon for at

least 3 years.

The Empty Homes/Loans to Landlords loan schemes (up to

£30,000 available) aims to assist landlords with rented homes (or homes

intended for renting) to make essential repairs or improvements to their
