PUBLIC loos in Tiverton could be closed under a council cost-saving scheme.
Toilets in Tiverton could be shut for good unless town councillors decide to step in and take over loos earmarked for closure by Mid Devon District Council.
The authority has carried out a review of its 14 public conveniences in the district. And the number could be significantly reduced.
The council is considering whether to board up toilets in Lowman Green and Phoenix Lane and convert them.
