Gold jewellery stolen from Mid Devon property

A gold wedding band was among a number of items of jewellery stolen from a house in Ellerhayes, near Hele.
The burglary took place yesterday (February 18) between 2.00pm and 4.00pm in the afternoon. The offender broke into the property by forcing a rear door. They then carried out a tidy search before making off with the jewellery. Other items taken include: a plain gold ring studded with diamonds, gold ring earrings with a floral pattern and a circle of sapphires with a diamond in the middle, a wooden jewellery box with mother of pearl inlayed which contained a selection of costume jewellery, a bracelet made of sixpenny pieces and a blue H.Samuels jewellery box set containing matching gold lady's wristwatch, bracelet and earrings.
Tiverton police would like to hear from anyone who has any information regarding the burglary or has been offered any of the stolen items.
