Julia Harrison demonstrated for the month of august to the theme motley melody meaning colorful collection. All were in beautiful condition, variety of colour schemes and styles. Something for new members, visitors and more experienced flower arranger.

First arrangement arranged on top of a tall glass aspidistra leaves curled around the base combined with dark leaved pittosporum and fatsia leaves. Flowers contained bells of Ireland, pink roses and anthuriums.

Second using beautiful curved drift wood shaped resembled a half moon. Incorporating foliage of copper beech, smoke bush and leather leave fern. Flowers of celosia, orange/yellow gerberas and hyperi*** berries. All complemented each other.

Third Perspex container apple green wire rolled into small coils and bent into different directions placed on the out side this was used to hold calla lilies. eucalptus, larkspur, Scottish thistle, blue agapanthus, sweet pea, and soft pink roses.

Traditional asymmetrical arrangement, incorporating hosta and hebe foliage with pink snow berries, September flower, lilies and Lisianthus. This was all that it needs to make a beautiful arrangement.  

Fifth a very modern arrangement using five small plastic baskets in a vertical line arranged on a wooden stand. Rubus and box foliage with flowers of green, pink with white edging and dark red carnations, and gerberas.
