Devon and Cornwall Police are becoming increasingly concerned for the safety and welfare of a man who is missing from his Tiverton home.
Robin Prescott is still missing
Robin Prescott, 49, has not been seen since 6am on Thursday 13 December when he left home in Burlescombe to travel to work in Wellington, Somerset.
A man matching Robin's description was seen getting on the 7.38am train from Taunton to Penzance on that Thursday morning. Police found his car abandoned at Taunton railway station.
Robin is close to his family and is described as being a loner, keeping himself to himself. This type of behaviour is out of character and his family and police are becoming increasingly concerned for him.
His sister Pamela said: "Robin we are concerned for you. Christmas is a time for families to be together. You have done nothing wrong and we are missing you. Please phone home or contact the police and let us know you are safe; just dial 101."
Devon and Cornwall Police are appealing for members of the public who may have seen Robin to contact them urgently.
It is thought Robin may have taken the train to the Dawlish area where he has holidayed with his family over the last 20 years. He also frequents betting shops and amusement arcades.
Robin is described as being 5ft 9ins tall, of slim build, with collar length grey to light brown hair, and a moustache. He was last seen wearing black trousers with a distinctive white and black chequered quilted shirt/jacket, and he was carrying a small white bag.
Anyone with any information is asked to call Devon and Cornwall Police on 101, quoting log number 0758 of 131212.
